Terms of Service

The Service is a registration list for the allocation of Plus recording devices. It collects the information necessary to assess and prioritise applicants, and to contact them when a device becomes available in their area.

Registration does not constitute an offer of employment, a contract for services, or an undertaking that you will be allocated a device. It creates no working relationship between you and Abundance and confers no entitlement to payment. We may distribute in certain markets and not others, determine allocation order at our discretion, or decline to proceed with distribution.

You must be aged 18 or over and legally capable of entering into these terms. Registration is limited to one per person, and the email address you provide must be one you control.

You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will not submit information you know to be false. Allocation decisions are made on the basis of the information supplied, and inaccurate information may result in removal from the waitlist.

The Service displays illustrations of potential earnings calculated at an indicative rate of US$2 per hour of usable footage. These illustrations are arithmetic examples. They do not constitute an offer, a projection of your income, or a representation that any amount will be earned.

• The indicative rate may change before distribution commences.
• Amounts shown in currencies other than the US dollar are converted at a published daily reference rate. The rate applied and its date are displayed. A conversion is not a quotation, and the rate applicable at the time of any payment will differ.
• Illustrations assume that every hour entered produces usable footage. Actual earnings depend on the volume of work available in your area, whether footage satisfies applicable quality requirements, and the terms in force at the time of distribution.
• No amount of work, level of earnings, or minimum payment is guaranteed.

The position displayed is an estimate of your priority for device allocation. It is adjusted as you complete registration questions and as other participants register through your referral link. It is an indication of priority only, does not reserve a device, and we may revise the basis on which it is calculated.

• Each participant who registers through your referral link advances your position by 50 places.
• Sharing your referral link is credited for your first 5 shares, to a maximum of 1,000 places in aggregate. Shares beyond that limit are not credited.
• Places have no monetary value, are not transferable or exchangeable, and do not constitute property.
• Only genuine shares to identifiable recipients are credited. Registration using addresses you do not control, self-referral, bulk or automated distribution, and the sale or exchange of referral links are prohibited.

Where we determine that the referral programme has been misused, we may withdraw credited places, invalidate a referral code, or remove the registration from the waitlist. We may amend or discontinue the referral programme at any time.

You agree not to:

• Register using an email address you do not control, or on behalf of another person without their authorisation.
• Employ automated means, including robots and scripts, to register, share or otherwise interact with the Service.
• Interfere with, overload, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reproduce, extract or resell any part of the Service.

The Plus name, logo, content, design and software are the property of Abundance. These terms transfer no rights in them to you. You may distribute your referral link; any other use requires our prior written consent.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service without notice. You may withdraw at any time by requesting erasure of your registration in accordance with the Privacy Policy. We may remove a registration that breaches these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any illustration or position displayed will prove accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abundance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit or anticipated earnings, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and if you are a consumer you retain all rights conferred by the law of your place of residence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of that jurisdiction.

We may amend these terms. The effective date shown above will be updated when we do so, and material changes will be notified by email to registered participants before they take effect. Continued registration following the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
